On the Move

One week to the day after driving from Springfield to Michigan we hit the road again, but this time with a moving truck, and made the journey from Michigan to Georgia. We'll spend the next six to eight months itinerating throughout Georgia and Florida. The week in between our long drives we scurried to clean out our house, purge all the extras and pack up what traveled with us. It's been a crazy busy summer so far, but as I write this we are unpacked in our new apartment and itineration in Georgia has started off very well. Please keep us in your prayers over these next few months as we work to get back to Colombia as soon as possible. Be blessed!

Commissioning

On July 2nd we were officially commissioned by the Assemblies of God. It was such a special night! Our class performed our choir song, "We Will Remember" and for as much as we were dreading our choir debut, it turned out to be a very powerful moment.
Pastor Lacy was our prayer partner for the commissioning service. He presented us with a Bible and then prayed over our family. We are so honored that he was with us for this very special time. Our friends, Jeff and Karen Hlavin, were also at the commissioning service. Jeff is the Secretary-Treasurer for the Michigan District and also over Michigan missions. He has been such a blessing to us as we've been itinerating in Michigan.
We're so excited to "officially" be part of the Latin America/Carribean team. Dick and Cynthia Nicholson are our Regional Directors. We have wonderful leadership! And like all things in Springfield seem to end, we said our goodbyes at Andy's Frozen Custard! There are many more pictures from this special night and the rest of our time in Springfield. You can see them at this link - Pictures.
